TLS:

You should run this issue directly to Stardock Support.

All the characteristics you've described sounds as if this problem goes further than just a simple fix. Being that you're stuck at the end of an install leads me to believe that there is possibly corruption in one of your apps.

Whether it's Icon Packager or Impulse, or even a combination of the two, I really can't say because I've never had or seen this problem before. Support is much better equip to diagnose and fix these matters.

And I must add, they do get to you quickly.

Here's support's link: WWW Link

Good Luck to you and much success in resolving this!

Sorry for the wait thuglifesenior.

I think they are right that more seems to be involved here. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can delve deeper into this problem.

I do have one thing for you to try from our FAQ though.

From within Impulse:

-Click the blue Help icon in the upper right.
-Choose 'Open XMLs folder (public)'
-When the folder pops up, delete any files/folders inside.
-Close this Window
-Click the blue Help icon in the upper right.
-Choose 'Open Impulse ProgramData folder'
-When the folder pops up, delete any files/folders inside.
-Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info.
