problem installing

Hi all,

I've just come back from uni for summer and am hoping to play galciv2 and it's 2 expansions on my home comp, which is much better than my laptop, but ive got a few queries.

1) Most importantly, when I get to 100% of installing dark avatar this comes up:

'Windows cannot find 'C:\PROGRA~1\Stardock\TOTALG~1\GalCiv2\GDFC2Install.exe'.  Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.

So I press 'OK', then this comes up:

'Could not execute the external prgram 'C:\PROGRA~1\Stardock... (same as above)'

But even then it says installation is finished and I need to restart to seal the deal. 

So then I installed ToA and that was fine but when I go to play ToA it says dark Avatar isn't really installed.

2)As all three of these games are installed on my laptop, is that a breach of law or anything serious I should know about?!!

3) I installed the games in order on my laptop starting about 4 months ago, keeping up to date with all Stardock Central updates, using ToA betas, then getting the game via download and disc.  Do I need to go through that whole order all over again for this computer?
