If we fight, what does that end up with?

I'll start off by saying I do make alot of posts in anger, which is largely based on a hot temper, and the fact that I get mad when people don't treat each other with respect.  I do admit I end up not treating people with respect because of it, but the fact is, anger begets anger, just as hate begets hate.

What the point of this post is, we could tear everything down, be the biggest assholes we can, but what do we end up with?

Nice guys finish last?  If I was a jackass to my boss, where would I be?  A bum on the street.  To finish first, sometimes ya gotta be nice.

Acceptance is not about what liberals make it out to be.  Acceptance for liberals is accepting people you wanna accept, while hating those ya don't.

True acceptance comes from accepting the fact your not king of the universe, that your a human like everyone else.  Hard to believe, but it's true.

I would like everyone to take some time this july 4th, and remember our ancestors, who understood this fact when they died to give us rights.  I would like us all not to accept a race card, but to accept that we're humans, and we should treat others like humans.

So....what you're saying is you are angry at yourself for not treating others with respect.

Simple to fix, really....;)

Angry words can have the same impact as bullets and be just as hard to take back.It's best to leave the "safety" on 'til you know what you are shooting at,and why. ;)

While one can not be happy at every moment and we typically disagree with folks now and again. It is our onus to realize when our anger is driving our words and try to best relate our frustrations in a way that does not offend or anger others. It is better to bring folks around to your thinking than it is to alienate them. This will be better achieved with well thought out discussions/posts.

In essence ... you attract more flies with honey than vinegar... ;)

I was replying to the content of the post, not on the post its self in it's worthyness. The content was about posting in anger as was my reply. If the post was IMO unworthy, my reply would have gone unsaid ;)
