Why you should vote for McCain

1. so we can have fun in Iraq for another 100 years , yay!!!!

2. So we can continue this economic prosperity of these last 8 years! lovely job losses , dollar going to crap , mortgage crisis and high gas prices , lets continue this stellar record of excellence.

3. We can push an agenda of not letting poor women get abortions , that way they can have kids when they arnt financially able to take care of them and then not fund any programs to help them with health insurance , food stamps , college or welfare. , after all if they are real desperate and poor they will make great soldiers when we go into Iran and Syria huh?

4.Of course with all these poor minorities we will have to have our guns to protect us and our nice things. that way we can make someone stealing a tv set out of your house a death penalty offense , yep stealing a tv requires death... at least in the middle east they only cut off your hand , who's more barbaric?

5.Instead of using new kinds of fuels , lets just drill more so we get a couple more years of oil and we can burn up the little we have left of our ozone.

6.Lets continue to let health care companies make record profits , screw the poor people who cant afford operations.

7.Keep taxes low  on the top 1% of the country after all they are the ones who are really hurting

8.An old senile grumpy old man running the white house might be the change we need.

Listen to what he says. It is clear that he is talking about having a military presence in Iraq like we do in South Korea, Japan, etc.

2. So we can continue this economic prosperity of these last 8 years! lovely job losses , dollar going to crap , mortgage crisis and high gas prices , lets continue this stellar record of excellence.

Despite what you hear the GDP and other economic indicators have shown a strong economy. The dollar going to crap is a inverse cause of raising minimum wage. This pushed and passed through a Democratic house and senate. The mortgage crisis the blood is again on the Democrats hands. Prime example is Bear Stears, forced to give these high risk loans.

4.Of course with all these poor minorities we will have to have our guns to protect us and our nice things. that way we can make someone stealing a tv set out of your house a death penalty offense , yep stealing a tv requires death... at least in the middle east they only cut off your hand , who's more barbaric?

Hmm, if you think owning a gun is about preventing someone from stealing from you there is some serious error in your logic.

5.Instead of using new kinds of fuels , lets just drill more so we get a couple more years of oil and we can burn up the little we have left of our ozone.

New kinds of fuels like ethanol? It has to be subsidized by around 50 cents per gallon just to make it competitive in the marketplace. Not to mention that the critics of ethanol predicted that introducing an alternative fuel FROM a food source is only going to cause food to go up. Yep that was a brilliant Democratic idea? How about nuclear? Once again strongly opposed by the Democrats. The democrats have made the process for our US oil companies extremely tedious to drill any oil on our own land. Let's not forget the wonderful 47% gross income tax that they pay.

I see you are quick to criticize while offering no real solution.

6.Lets continue to let health care companies make record profits , screw the poor people who cant afford operations.

Hmm, shall we give health care to the gov't who has, Social security, Medicare, Medicaid all of which are fiscally in trouble? Can you name me ONE business like entity that the gov't controls that is fiscally stable?

7.Keep taxes low on the top 1% of the country after all they are the ones who are really hurting

Ah yes and a bigger gov't is the answer? Please tell me the last time you worked for a poor homeless man?

Please tell me where the gov't reach ends in your mind? You think things are corrupt now! Give more power to the gov't and you will see what true corruption looks like. Maybe you are too young to remember those standing in line for days in Moscow for bread! For the basics of food.

Now LW, that's not true. His plan is very simple. Tax the crap out of everyone. Anyone with an income. Starting with SS and ending with windfall taxes. Although this will produce 0 ounces of oil, if Obama gets his way he will become the great AssRaper.

As long as we are there , violence will follow , when we were in Korea and Japan we were liberators not occupiers , we were WELCOMED and LOVED to be there , Iraq is a much different story.

It's not a rumor that the economy is crap , it's felt by everyone , gas prices , job cuts , the deficit , these things are real. And the minimum wage is not the cause. The Stock market is crap , the dollar is crap and most of it is bush's fault because he's not doing anything to help create jobs , such as the new deal , rebuilding our bridges and roads. its just not his top priority to create good jobs , long as the oil and medicine companies are doing well and rich people have all their money , everything is gravy to him.

Hmm, if you think owning a gun is about preventing someone from stealing from you there is some serious error in your logic.

Perhaps you didn't hear the story in the news recently where two guys broke into someone's house and stole stuff , as they were running away the house owner shot the two men in the back as they were running. right after 911 told the man that stealing a TV is not worth dieing for. Republicans are so paranoid , they live in the best neighborhoods and they feel the need for guns , its just not realistic. republicans will be surprised when the very legislation they support gets them shot by letting more criminals have guns.

No , I agree with you. Ethanol is the biggest scam in history. and it was supported by Bush and conservative Midwest states for a big payoff. What I propose is every vehicle being mandatory to be a hybrid by 2020. then by 2050 every vehicle must be entirely electric , to add to the power grid we will need more wind , solar and nuclear power plants. which will create more jobs and save the environment and reduce our need to police the middle east. hey that rhymed.

Hmm, shall we give health care to the gov't who has, Social security, Medicare, Medicaid all of which are fiscally in trouble? Can you name me ONE business like entity that the gov't controls that is fiscally stable?
I still think it would be better than the current system , and I fully support people's decision to not use gov healthcare. it can be your choice if you want it or not. but there should be something in place to help people who cant afford operations , do you think a little girl should die because her parents cant afford a new heart for her?

yes i think big gov is good. There is such a thing as the circle of life , and what I mean by that is the rich people and the corporations are only wealthy because of middleclass and working Americans. they buy your products! if you rape them with all their money how do you expect us to buy anything.

Nope , tax the hell out of the rich , making over 200k a year , if you don't make that much you don't have to worry. Plus get out of Iraq that will save a bunch.

You sound like the conspiracy type that 9/11 was an inside job?

In case you didn't know we are STILL in Japan, and Korea. Are we still at war at these locations?

There are major differences between occupiers and having a presence (you stated occupiers not I). Who says we AREN'T welcomed in Iraq?

ECONOMY: The economy is slow, not crap. We are not in a recession like the 80s nor like the Great Depression. In fact the media has been continuously using the recession word for quite a long time now. Economies have a cyclical nature to them. Periods of great growth and periods of significant slow downs.

GAS PRICES: This has been in the makings for a while.

WWW Link

MINIMUM WAGE: Minimum wage DOES influence the value of our dollar in the global market. Since the majority of our oil/gas comes from foreign sources our currency used to make the purchase is heavily influenced on the value of the dollar.

Let me give you an example. If your job is to load a hundred hay bales in a day. You are paid $10 for that day. But in Russia they pay 50 rubles for the same amount of work (assumption of same size of bales). The $10 is essentially equivalent to 50 rubles (ratio 1:5). The dollar is worth 5 times the ruble.

Now we do a minimum wage increase to $20 (to keep number simple): now the ratio is 2:5. Although in reality it isn't quite this drastic hopefully you can see that the value of the dollar was reduced by 50% in comparison to the ruble.

Increasing minimum wage can ONLY decrease the value of the dollar. Please tell me ONE thing that the increasing of minimum wage actually does positively from a long term perspective?

Every vehicle needs to be a hybrid by 2020? You tell me that you want to help the poor but place the burden on them to buy an expensive hybrid car?

yes i think big gov is good. There is such a thing as the circle of life , and what I mean by that is the rich people and the corporations are only wealthy because of middleclass and working Americans. they buy your products! if you rape them with all their money how do you expect us to buy anything.

Again please tell me ONE thing that the government is in control of that is fiscally stable or successful? I know of none. Why would you want an entity, that can't even successfully run a SINGLE program it currently has control of, more control over other areas? Please help me understand this logic?

McCain has a huge temper??? Please provide ANY evidence to this.

I can understand a concern for his age. While I haven't decided if I will vote for McCain I am greatly interested on his VP choice for the very reasons you mention above. At this venture if he were to choose Palin he'd have my vote.

Can you show me any where in history where taxing the crap out of the rich has EVER worked to build the economy or yielded in increased revenue for the federal government?

WWW Link Here's an article that suggests the opposite.

Here's a good read about windfall taxes on oil.

To increase the minimum wage means workers can spend more money to stimulate the economy , unlike Bush's tax cuts which gave money to people who already bought everything they wanted to buy and another few thousand bucks wouldn't stimulate jack. My answer for companies struggling with the min wage is to cut the CEO's salary.. instead of letting him make 20 million a year bring it down to 10 million. thats not so bad. and will let his workers who got him there to be able to buy groceries for their kids.

Sorry i didn't clarify what i ment to say , is that all car companies must build only hybrids by that time period. Just a requirement made to car companies foreign and domestic if they want to sell here in the US.

I was using your UID and applying it to Obama as President, not you.

see this is where I point it to Obama note the possessive pronoun of 'he' in conjunction with the previously used proper noun of Obama.
Although this will produce 0 ounces of oil, if Obama gets his way he will become the great AssRaper.

Then I continued this sentence upon further reflection (as edit button was missing).
Or maybe AssRaper86 as the US is getting well um.. yeah and then 86ed to boot.

In conclusion I was calling OBAMA, AssRaper and/or AssRaper86, not you.

I only brought in 9/11 because of the comment "As long as we are there , violence will follow" this was similar to Ron Paul's statements.

Have you noticed that suddenly you don't hear ANYTHING about losing in Iraq lately? That's because we are having successes! Before calling Iraq a quagmire you might go back and research the funding being passed during the Vietnam war. Congress just recently passed further funding to Iraq.

As for the killing over there take a look at this beauty of link. Be sure to note the drastic reduction in deaths SINCE the surge last year.

Can you provide any evidence that supports your position that increasing minimum wage stimulates the economy?

Time will tell if these tax rebates actually stimulate the economy. I too am a little leery.

I can understand you ill-content when it comes to CEO's. However just like the President of the US they assume so much more responsibility over the company's success/failure than do the 'workers.' The reason so many CEO's make a nice salary is because they worked up to that position. The current CEO at my company makes around 160K. Not the millions you talk about. He came from a smaller company that had success under his management. My company was looking for a new CEO and made him an offer to leave his previous job and come work for us.

Would you leave your job to another one for the exact same amount? Would you be more inclined to leave your job for another if they offer you more money? I suspect that the second question would have more appeal to you than the first. You may not like it but if you eliminate this then you create a glass ceiling for yourself.

The question then is... who do you want to determine your glass ceiling? You or the government?

Yes if they were run right they would be successful. But let's look at this from the gov't perspective. What is their carrot to run it successfully when they have the power to bail out by increasing taxes?

Do you think that Obama can run these programs right?

But yep you are right his VP is very important. so is Obama's , who knows if he will get shot by some racist.

It's because of statements like that Obama even stands a chance in the election. The party who says they are colorblind is the first one to play the race card. I will not be surprised if Obama is not elected that the race card will fly like a kite. As for me I just simply cannot support ANY of his Marxist policies.

I'm not making race an issue. I'm just saying that there are SOME PEOPLE out there who are radical. not putting the blame on republicans or anything. Im just saying that the KKK is still out there and that it is important that we have a good VP just in case another MLK thing happens. I don't think race should be an issue at all. But i know there are alot of people who arnt voting for him because he is black subconsciencly. for instance people who say "I am not voting for obama because i heard an internet rumour that says he is a muslim" or " i am no voting for obama because he doesnt wear a flag pin" these kind of voters are in denile , making up excuses why they dont support him but the truth is , its because he is black , this feeling is strong in the south and the rust belt. people in the west are more above it because they dont have the history of race battles.

I'm leery of the race baiting that has already come out from his camp (especially from Michelle his wife).

I disagree with you on making a connection of not voting for him because of rumors that say he is a muslim is ultimately because he is black.

While there may be some who will not vote for him because he is black but you know what? This is America and no matter how stupid one may consider another's reasoning we all still have the right to vote the way we desire. This reasoning coming from the DNC and Obama camp is fundamentally a form race baiting coming directly from them.

This notion of, "It's not his policies that people disagree with, but it is because he is black" is what I am talking about.

Don't you find it interesting the main people who bring up color as an issue are liberals (like you did yourself)?
