Help! I'm a moron with a really wierd problem

Okay, I'm a moron when it comes to computers, and as a result, probably shouldn't be tampering with the program files in order to create new candidates. The other day, after putting the finishing touches on Joe Clark, I went into the game to check everything out, and all the fonts changed. Pretty much everthing is in some font that looks vaguely like Times New Roman, and the candidates names look something like Century Gothic. What did I do, and how can I change it back? Please put your answer in as simple of a form as possible, because like i said, I'm a moron.

Apart from deleting the .ttf files, I don't know what you could have done that would have caused the fonts to change like that.

Try re-installing the game from the CD and then apply the 1.02 patch (which is comprehensive).
