Poll: Do we want a map editor in political machine?

Do we want to add a map editor? I say yes, but what do you all say?

By the way:

Sorry, I didn't see the question, I thought it was just the pictures (I'm a Red Wings fan). An added map editor would be great for added depth to the game. I'm 110% in favor of the motion. :)

Yes, an added map editor would be great, but I would like more candidates first (as I imagine a map editor would take time.)

No, a map editor first! We can already make more candidates with the PROVIDED candidate editor!

The OP should know that we ARE a Detroit based company. Requesting features then slamming our 'Wings' probably isn't a good way to get said feautres ;)

But yes, we are discussing the release of the editors, albeit in an 'unsupported' state.

Yodelingdog,
You're not going to win much Stardock support for this thread with your anti-red wings pictures and comments.  Our office is in Michigan (home of the Red Wings).

By the way, the coach you have pictured there (Scotty Bowman) coached the wings to 3 Stanley Cups.  And he's still involved in the organization.  The wings may have a different coach now, but they won the Cup again this year.  This included sweeping Colorado in the 2nd round.  Go Avs indeed.  (rolls eyes). :p

I think a map editor would help create a lasting base for the political machine series. The creation abilitys in GalCiv2 and the Civ series(world builder) have helped to ensure longevity(as if GalCiv2 needed anything to give it even more longevity). The major probelms I see are the infusion of issues, endorsments, TV shows, etc. A randomising feature to start it off would help, but it's not hard to see the difficulty in creating an editor. I do believe it could pay off big in the long run though. And umn...Go Lions?(I am a Bostonian, but I have a soft spot for the lions.)

Then you understand our deeply-rooted sense of pain and longing very well.

I would have to vote no. I would prefer supported issues, candidates, and interviews, or newer supported features being added instead.

Lol that was just for fun. This thread isn't a sports collum though. Back on subject, I would prefer to see a map editor before more canadites. Maybe with the map creator an interview maker thing could be made.

I would imagine Berndie wants some 'performance upgrades' to come well before a map editor takes priority ;)

No hurry needed anyways. A map editor tomarrow is just as good as an editor Nov. 4. Unfortunatly PM doesn't have the base that Galciv2 had upon intial release either. Im guessing this leaves less money, and there by less time. If the PM care is even a 1/16 as good as GalCiv2's, I expect to see a few special updates before election day. The care poured into GalCiv2 is the reason I felt confident in buying PM(even if as much attention cant be focused on PM.)
