Making your own map ect?

I was looking through the files to do something like this. The closest I got was making seprate partys with costum veiws and ideas. But when I looked in the file called screens, I noticed something called map editor. Is there a way to use this?

We do have a pretty rad map editor but, as of now, it's not in the most polished and user-friendly state. If we do release it then it will most likely be relatively "unsupported."

We also have several other editors that may be released in an 'upsupported' form...they WORK (they're how we made the core maps and issues) but for the average user they may too clunky to use.

The map editor is not hooked up.  So even though you might have seen the graphics pack for the screen, there is no way currently to access it.

He might be able to reverse engineer it, dive into the asm, hack some of the registers that we used to disable access for the gold release candidate, and then manually re-compile the source to build a new EXE with which he could use the map editor.

I'm just saying; it might not be completely impossible to access.

He could also just go Jack Bauer on the game and open a socket into the map editor.

Maybe someone should start a thread (hint, hint, nudge nudge) that is similar to a poll where people are asked whether or not they'd like to see the Map Editor become available in a future update. 

If there is enough demand, we could probably convince the boss to let us put it in.  It's kind of un-polished right now, so he'd have to allocate some dev time so we can clean it up a bit first.
