Tell Me Please..........

Well, this is not a fun topic...Please tell me......

1.. A png or gif copression utility without losing transparency... Tried Ulead Smartsaver i optimized size but lost transprency.

2.. While creating a png strip using Aniutil , what value to put in the Tolerence box for least size.

3..Today, I uploaded my first wallpaper pack "Dreamflora Wallpaper Pack" but it's readme.txt is 0kb as i forgot to save any text into it...Also it had three walls and preview was only for one...as all others were slightly different.. Will it be rejected?
I decieded not to bother mods as they already get tons so asked here....

a png is an uncompressed file format. If somehow you are compressing it..probably going to lose transparency. :NOTSURE:

As a Mod I will say the wall pack will Probably be rejected unless the walls are only resized versions of the same. Even then they are still subject to rejection as they will be judged by the mod wether or not to be allowed in to the library, not all walls pass moderation. Actually I believe most do not.

With there being 3 diff walls within the Zip it increases the chances of being rejected x3. As it will be judged on all wallpapers within the pack so if even just one of them are rejected, the whole pack will be rejected.


There does not need to be a text file or read me file within wallpapers zips, unless the images or parts there in are not of your making. In that event, you would need a Permission text sent from the original author.

Thanks for reply...You mean to say that i should submit only one wall of same of difèrent scales at a time?
And if I submit more I should also submit all previews.

Same wall different sizes if you wish.

One wall typically has a hard time getting in to the library, multiples in a single pack will make it harder for it to get passed as one wall may be aproved but another in the pack may not, thus geting the whole pack rejected.

It would be wiser to up them one at a time so your odds are better the ones that will get in, do.

If you still wish to upload them as a pack I would advise showing all the walls contained in the preview, as it allows the downloader to see theres more than one wall. They might like a specific one you other wise wouldnt have shown in the pack preview.

These are sugestions on bettering your odds of getting some walls in to the library, not absolutes, nor rules.
