PM2008 in stores

For those of you that have been asking about getting PM2008 from a retail store...

Gamestop has The Political Machine 2008 listed on their website.  I don't know if this means that they have it on their shelves yet, but most likely.

Not surprisingly, (since they are merged) EBGames also has it on their website.  Again, I have not personally went to one of their stores, so I don't know if they have it on the shelves yet.  If not, I can't imagine it'll be much longer.

I checked Target's website, and as of today, it was not listed yet.  Same with Walmart (who I'm not sure will be carrying it anyway), and Meijer (a mid-western US store that is kind of like Target).

Circuit City has it listed on their website, and you can check in-store availability by inputting your zipcode.  Strangely, they have Ubisoft listed as the publisher, even though Stardock both published and developed this time.

So hopefully this post will help you guys find it at a your local retailer, but if you're planning on buying it from a website anyway, you could just get it straight from our purchase page.

I also got it at Target yesterday, at Polaris in Columbus, OH if anyone else is in the area. They only had 1 copy left after I got mine, so hurry! I also checked Gamestop and Meijer and neither of those had it yet. The Gamestop employees were suitably clueless about when/whether they'd be getting it and said something to the effect of "we don't carry many PC games, as you can see" and pointed to their rack of PC games with damaged boxes having multiple annoying price tag stickers on them.

FYI, I was in a Wal-Mart and a Best Buy today and neither of those had the game yet, so it looks like Target is it for now.

I just ordered the digital version, but it did not install on my computer.  Is this one of those things where I have to wait to see if my credit card is good or did I do something wrong?  Perhaps it's on my computer but I just don't see it.

You should get an email soon (if you haven't already) that tells you how to obtain the game.  Basically it'll tell you to download Impulse and you'll be able to instantly get the game downloaded and updated, plus access to all updates from that point forward.  The game should be registered to you already, but if it's not, you can lookup your registration code via the question mark in the top-right corner of Impulse.
