Impulse Issues

Hi guys, I seem to have a problem with Impulse: Every time it starts up i get the message at the bottom left corner saying "Downloading Impulse Update - Connecting..." only it never connects. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Make sure the BITS service is enabled.
Make sure you have 2.0 of the .Net framework
Make sure your firewall is allowing traffic.

The first two on your list are fine for me. As for my firewall, i'm not sure why it would be blocking impulse specifically without warning me like it usually does, unless I need to open up some specific ports on my router for it?
