Transformation Packs.....

Here is the list of Transformation packs available for XP.....

Mac OS Transformation Pack

mac-OSX-transformation-pack

Transforms XP to look like Mac OS X 10.5. Some important components like Windows Explorer and other shell files are patched to mimic Mac OS X appearance. Work only with Windows XP SP2 (English version).

FlyakiteOSX

flyakite-windows-like-OSX

Again, make your windows look like Mac OS X. However, it’s much more comprehensive than the above one. This enhancement utility does everything from registry tweaks, visual styles, sounds, icons to imitate the appearance of Mac OS X.

Fedora Transformation Pack

This tool is intended for making XP resemble the Fedora Linux Distro. Though the utility just packs a simple visual style, it does include icons, screensavers and wallpapers, and other Fedora-like skins for programs.

Ubuntu Transformation Pack

Vista Transformation Pack

Always a good idea for anyone considering these modifications is to check things out thoroughly before installing.  A worse case recovery could be a reformat and reinstall of everything.

I actually used the Vista Transformation Pack for a short time. I had no problems with it myself but some people do.

Luckily though that is what led me to find Windowblinds which led me to the other Stardock products and before long I cleared it off of my machine and purchased ObjectDesktop. ;)

Windows X also led me to the revelation that Object Desktop is more than any system hack could ever hope to be.

But yes, I used VTP on my old XP machine. I loved how I could have the Vista icons and VS (even though I could never get TrueTransparancy to work with ViOrb).

Yes truetransparency is a resource hogger.. and causes errors too... its very popular on deviantart.....

As i said off all theses i have tried only Vista Inspirat 2... It worked flawlessly. My copy of VTP got corrupt while downloading.

VTP is very cool, but gets really annoying after a while. I had to go into my startup settings and manually turn it off and restart my computer to get rid of it because my start menu wasn't working. Thank you Stardock for Objectdock without it i'd be screwed

That's a solid 10...tried it on XP and regretted it!

Why would you need it with all the Stardock products available?

Aren't you looking for the Question with a Question Game?

But really, that's 100% on. SD made all the stuff you need to spiffify your desktop, etc.

The more you add, the more problems you;ll have ... that's just the way it goes. :S

Options are always good.  Competition drives improvement, right?

Wouldn't catch me dead using one of these.

I have had many e-mails from users who have destroyed their systems because of these things.  I would never recommend them.
