No in-game cinematics in Painkiller?

So I realize that the TG.Net tokens are on their way out the door, so I'm spending them willy-nilly (especially since I finished my exams yesterday and wanted to have me some fun).  After watching a very favorable review of Painkiller, I decided to pony up and spend some of my tokens on it.

A good while later (it's a good sized game and my connection in Europe ain't that great), I got to play the game.  But there weren't any in-game cinematics, no cut scenes, nothing.  According to the favorable review, there were too many cutscenes that take away from the pure carnage that is Painkiller.  And while, granted, cutscenes aren't crucial, I like them.

So does the Total Gaming version of Painkiller not come with any cinematics?  If so, that makes me slightly sad.  (:(

Painkiller does have in-game cinematics. If you're missing movies/music, you probably didn't download those modules. Next to Painkiller in Stardock Central, click the + button and you'll see them.  If you downloaded the game via Impulse, please post back.

Yep, I downloaded it in Impulse, Yarlen - that must be the issue.  And, come to think of it, there wasn't any music either.  I guess I'll pop open SDC and do it the old-fashioned way, but just so you know - they don't get included in the Impulse install.

Okay, thanks. I'll look into it.

Got them both through SDC. Hope you get the Impulse version sorted out. :D
