First, pick up an american newspaper, turn on an american news show, read an american magazine. Who do you read/see? Obama. JU is just a reflection of what the press is in love with.

Second, show me any slander about Obama. You stated 13 articles, surely there must be some you can say instead of "And I am sure all of them is pretty slandering about him."

Slander is after all a very definitive and legal term.

Finally, why dont you read these articles, and the other ones. There is no doubt that there are many republicans on JU. However some of the articles were written by democrats, some by non-americans, and beleive it or not, most of the rest by NON-republicans. But they may be conservative.

IN summation, dont assume. It makes an ass out of you.

You can go over to the Huffington Press and get a nice left leaning blogsite. As an Independent I visit sites leaning both ways as well as sites with views from 3rd party bloggers. People really need to grasp the plusses and minuses of all views. There are definately reasons for certain people to go the party line but I think the fact that both parties are taking sides on certain issues simply to pull in blocs of voters means that the best solutions truly are bipartisan compromises. Probably a large reason why 40% or so of voters are Independent.

I would have to say tho the vast majority of bloggers at this site do not understand the issues, have no concept of macroeconomics, and have minimal knowledge of political history and its significance on many of the issues. Many are simply repeating the the same crap that is being fed to them by spinsters who are paid to twist the truth, and zealots who will benefit from others who may vote for policies that don't even benefit themselves.

There will definatly be a lot party changing. Many of those who just started realizing that trickle down economics ain't even trickling will go one way and i suspect the rest of the racist who didn't go the other way after the civil rights movement will finally go the other way.

Are you as an individual the vast majority? Or just one of many in here.

In any case simply take a look at the posts. There is much more repeated spin in the posts and responses than actual discussion on political and economic issues.



I in no way inferred a public ignorance to economic issues. After all we are all involved in our own economic circumstances. We live our own economic issues. I specifically said MACROeconomics for a reason. I do not and never will claim to be well schooled in economics however if someone rebuts my economic opinions with valid information or theory from reputable economists, I can usually point to where my opinion comes from. If you're schooled in economics than instead of simply stating disagreement on those issues you should be explaining the reasons for your disagreement. After all there are several schools of thought amongst the top economist in the world. Some opinions end up being correct others incorrect, not to mention the models used to evaluate economic policy or change are everchanging themselves.
