Lost Metaverse Character

I'm guessing that support is swamped because of the upcoming release of The Political Machine or something, because it has been a week with nothing but an automated email response from them on this.  (Even with follow ups to the original submission.)  Hopefully, one of you might have an idea, because I'm hoping I'm not SOL:

Long story short, because of some weird issues that I have with my account, when I order new games through TGN, my account gets all screwed up and reset to my old email address.  This time, I also lost my metaverse character.  It's still on the score board/ranking list...but it's lost from my profile and I can't submit any games under it.   Anyone know how I might get it back?

Don't worry, that was destroyed long ago. So now, it just made me laugh when i realized that it's more of a response than I've gotten from support...


Seriously, what gives? Either they are busier than ever before, or I broke something in such a weird way that they need to fly some code-fu master in from the Orient to fix it. Generally, they would have responded by now.

I know it doesnt help get the old character back, but can you create a new character? Maybe you could at least have the ability to play MV games, while waiting for the old character to be fixed.

Sure, I could...But A.) I'd really rather not start all over, B.) I liked the character name, and most importantly C.) If I can't get them to acknowledge the problem and fix it, it's just going to happen again next time I buy a game.
