Nope-Still Can't Vote For Obama

Even Knowing More About Him

I know very little about Obama and when I ask others, no one else seems to know either.  So before we even consider to vote for him we should start at least getting to know the guy and his background don't ya think.  So far this about sums up all I know about him and was sent to me by a friend. 

LET ME SEE IF I HAVE THIS STRAIGHT:

HE LIVES IN A $1.4 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE THAT HE ACQUIRED THROUGH A DEAL WITH A WEALTHY FUND RAISER; HOW?

HE 'WORKED' AS A CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST IN CHICAGO - HAS NEVER HELD A PRODUCTIVE JOB.
He has never even run a corner hot dog stand. Or met a payroll. Or managed anything besides his political offices and his speeches. And he wants you to believe that he should be CEO of the most powerful and complex nation in the world, and Commander In Chief of our armed forces???

I'm not much of an Obama supporter myself, but a lot of the "points" above in the very large colorful text seem incredibly irelevant to whether or not he'd be a good President.  I'll concede the point about his quiet acceptance of the hate spewed by his pastor, but the rest seems like you're really reaching for something to hold against him.

Does it really matter that his father left his mother?  Does it matter what school he went to growing up?

And how many politicians have much actual non-political work experience?  Even Bush's time in the corporate world can be called disappointing, if you're being charitable.  I wonder who the last serious presidential candidate was who actually ran a corner hot dog stand, or themselves had to worry about meeting payroll.


Also, honestly, where did the affirmative action thing come from?  I mean really.  That's like saying any woman running is trying to cash in on AA and the feminist movement.  Or that any white candidate is really trying to cash in with the rural uneducated populace.

All I need to know about Obama is where he stands on protecting the right to life of the unborn. His voting record is absolutely dismal on this one issue....so, nope I can't vote for Obama.  

The Democrat's candidate for President said that he would never want his daughters to be "punished" with the birth of an unplanned baby, as if it were a thing to be disposed of. And as an Illinois state senator, he opposed legislation that would protect babies born alive in botched abortion attempts. If nothing else, this shows a cold, crass brutal side to his character. He cares more about the dictates of his political party than he cares for protecting the health and safety of an innocent baby born alive from a botched abortion attempt.

As President, he's promised to compound that repulsive violation of the Moral Law, thou shalt not kill. So, this coming November, I'll cast my vote for all those who have been murdered in the name of "a woman's right to choose" against Obama.

Time Magazine had an article on Obama, last month, maybe the month before, def March or April though, and it has pictures of his mom, his grand parents, etc.

His mom had a liberal hippy, bra burning, white girl vibe goin on.

Well since I put this up I've learned alot about Obama.  I've had information sent to me since I posted this.  I don't get Time so I missed that article.  I'll see if I can get it tho, 

I have nothing against the man personally.  I don't dislike him at all.  I don't like what he stands for and I don't think our country is foremost and forefront on his mind by his own speeches and affiliations and the more I can see or find out about his family.  I believe his interest is Africa not America and one of his goals is to send quite a bit of money to Africa for Aids from the American people by raising taxes. 

His mother's second husband when Obama was still young is Lolo Soetoro who is/was an Indonesion Muslim.  They had a daughter Maya who is Obama's half sister. 

He has a brother Abongo Obama who is a LUO Activist and a Militant Muslim. 

Obama made some speeches in 06 perhaps campaigning for Luo Odinga in Africa but the transcripts of them can't be found.  I'd be interested in what he said there in 06.  Odinga is the opposition leader in Kenya who signed a Shariah pact with Muslims and claims to be Obama's cousin.  He is married and has named his oldest  son Fidel after guess who? 

His uncle is quoted as saying if he gets elected as President there will be better relations between Africa and America because Obama's roots are in Africa. 

So yes, I think we American's have some questions that need to be answered about who is he running for?  America?  or Africa?

The problem I have is you're approaching the information void as being some sort of indictment against him.  You're not approaching this as "Who is he?  What can I learn?" so much as "I know nothing, he must be hiding things!  There must be something sinister or un-American behind him."

Again I ask, what difference does his family make?  Does having relatives who are muslim diminish him in some way? 

And what's wrong with having better relations with Africa?  How is "relations would be better with country X" equate to "He's running for country X"?

I have no problem with people who say "I don't like Obama because of his politics, policies, and general platform"  that's what politics is about, you vote for the person you agree with most, but you seem to be set against the guy even though you admittedly know nothing about him.  In my view, that's as bad as people who preemptively dismiss any Republican candidate because they must be bible-thumping nut jobs.

Unlike you however i try to make certain that the information i gather is from more than a single source and even further more than a single "reliable" source.

So why don't you make yourself productive and find the answers to some of the questions you posted and when u find them on the internet, take a look at the sources so that you totally understand how much "pointless drivel" you have included in your original post.

Poor Obama. Not only does he have the anti-black people annoying him, he has to deal with all of this anti-muslim racism being paraded around as "news" and "facts", even though he isn't a muslim.

Also, what's wrong with the state legislature? To me that seems like the ideal experience a candidate needs for a launch into federal politics and eventually a presidential run. A guy who has run a hot dog stand, hunts foxes, and follows football is the last guy who i'd want as a president. I have nothing against those things (except maybe killing foxes), but shouldn't presidents be the elite of the elite? Shouldn't they be so intellectually superior that whenever people get within 10 feet of him they cower in awe? In my opinion the way election campaigns are run these days they dumb down the candidates (or image of the candidates) to the point where you have contests between unremarkable nothings who were lucky enough to be born in a powerful and wealthy family.

Given the flavor of relatives of previous presidents, I would say none at all. They are not the man and anyone with siblings know, that we are not them either.

But the issue that disturbs many is not who Obama's relatives are, but how HE is treating THEM. I have many disagreements with my siblings, but if one yells "Hey Rube", we are all there for them. Blood and all. Obama's treatment of his relatives is an indication (true or false we do not know) of his treatment of his fellow man. If he cannot afford to at least treat his family with respect, what does that say for his treatment of allies, the opposition, or more importantly, other foreign leaders? Not all foreign leaders sip tea, and eat crumpets with pinkie finger crooked.

The Constitution of the US provides that the chief executive has a duty and responsibility to see that the laws are faithfully carried out and to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.

It's not too much to say that given the office of President with all its prestige, power and influence, we should critically examine the CHARACTER of both men. Character counts when deciding who is best to carry out Presidential duties, as Commander in Chief, negotiating treaties, granting repreives and pardons, appointing federal officials, and influencing legislation.

The moral philosophy that our nation was founded was presented explicitly in the Declaration of Independence..."We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

Obama with his 100% pro-abortion voting record has shown himself unwilling to protect Life in the womb. Barack Hussein Obama doesn't believe in this truth declared by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence. That says plenty about his character to me. If he hasn't got it right with the self-evident equal and unalienable rights of the unborn Life then he won't get it right on much of anything else.

Nope, still can't vote for Obama.

Obama's past is no more no less questionable than any other candidate who runs for public office. I can scrutinize both Obama and McCain and find good and bad things about both. I can take the same questions the original poster posed and apply them to McCain and many might be surprised at some of the answers you come up with.

Really?  Well how about you tell me what is incorrect?  I have looked into the above statement and so far it checks out.  So first you give me what is "factually wrong" and I'll address it. 

The more I find out about Obama, the scarier he looks.  At lthe very least we should not be so quick electing him to the highest point of office without him having a bit more experience.  Com'on what experience does he have? A one term senator jumping right into the Presidential election?  That's not enough for me.  His connections and interest in socialism and communism is something we need to delve more into.  He literally came so much out of nowhere even Hillary's camp had no clue.  The only reason she ran, if you remember, is she carefully calculated the chances of her success and thougt she was unbeatable.  She didn't count on Obama. 

Have you ever heard of his mysterious pal, Frank?  He's Obama's childhood mentor mentioned in his book "Dreams From My Father"  It's been discovered outside of this book that he's Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist  Party member and anti-American revolutionary.  So why aren't we hearing much about these things?  In his book he's only mentioned as just "Frank." 

Remember Republican Senator Alan Keyes?   Keyes accused Obama in 2004 of being a "hard core academic Marxist".  There's reason for this accusation.

Obama admits in his books of attending socialists conferences and reading Marxist literature and being publicly identified with this Frank Davis who was involved in several communist organizations. 

I think the people we most heavily associate with such saysl alot about who we are.  His close associations with Rev Wright, Frank Davis and Oprah says alot.  He's not thinking about America here.  He's thinking outside our borders and globally.  There seems to be more talk about Africa than America and Obama's been dropping all sorts of clues.  No wonder Oprah supported him.  Makes sense now. 

Yes, the progressives are all over him.  The new emerging church with all the young people are all over him and I believe we need to halt and take a good look at who the heck this Obama coming out of nowhere really is before we mark an X by his name come November. 

I think Hillary had no idea what she was up against when she ran and he totally did a number on her....and I'm no fan of Hillary by a long shot.

Would it be too much to ask for you to do it? I mean I always find it interesting how people can argue they can do the same but don't go any further than saying it. I am interested in knowing what might surprise me by the answers. Would you be up to it or is this all scare talks?
