And, i'll try it out -- within the next two weeks or so, since once X-Worlds version 05-F has been uploaded here i will take a few free-time to play TA more extensively and fiddle a bit with the remaining Minors of CoSH.

All of this can be done with a BoL task for Race Images.

But, i'd need much more precise information on your wishes & hopes.

I do have that Mod and i suppose you'll be going for Communist, Allies, type of things -- but, i'd rather get YOUR direct take on these subjects since i would need some kind of reference to match it more closely to some specific needs.

Anybody can go gooogggling around to find thousands of different artworks that could fit the wanted 'context' (Gosh, how many versions of Lenin can someone stare at over the web pages - being just one!)... but it's a matter perception; i could be fascinated by caricatural stuff while you may NOT, etc, etc.

Forget I-Mod; just do it right here!
Judging from the reaction i got from uploading two teasers (X-Worlds & Cosh) posts & polls about three weeks back... i think the Mod-Yards overthere won't ever lift off to my satisfaction. Far from me to be critical of I-Mod, though! I feel the community is MUCH smaller overthere. Thus, less chances to obtain some results.

20MBs limit for file sizes may be annoying - but, i can certainly workaround that. The I-Mod ftp_bandwidth is, in fact, **very** slow (Germany?!). Simply placing a 100+ zip file in their library would mostly require a lot more time to get than if i had 5 times 20s straight here.

So, if you truly want some original pictures - ya gonna have to step forward with detailed 'expression' of your intentions.

i think he whants pictures of the pepole of WWII or the flages of the contres like japan or the americans something like that. i can help but i cant do pepole.

Actually, I think he wants somrthing more futuristic when it comes to logos, such as these examples:

Americans: Earth I front of an eagle clutching the American flag

Fifth Riech: Blood-red swastika over a black-and-white Earth

Communists: Hammer ans Sickle inside of a glaxy graphic

Allies: sorry, can't think of anything here.

Dunno exactly when any of these may get ready for submission to your approval, but i'll try to do my very best. Greasy hair? Sly nazi?

What i like about this game though is that we can always mod'any'mods to suit our own preferences!
That's the whole tricky reasoning with personal taste - one may never know exactly WHAT is someone's best or worst; "Portraits" included.

If you still need a hand with this, I've had a quick go at a couple for you (I've sent them with a PM). If you like the general style but not the specifics of the content, they should be pretty easy to adjust (like if you have a more concrete idea of what these people should look like, what sort of uniforms, what sort of things in the background etc).

If they're of no use, then don't worry - I learnt a few new tricks making them, so I'm happy.

Those race pics are really good! :CONGRAT: a few things though: 1. the Allies guy looks more like a scientist than a leader (the not so neat hair and gray moustache) 2. the nazi and communist guys should both look meaner (no offence to communists...but they are bad guys in this mod)

I've sent you the .zip link of the trade pics / race image in a PM.

I've just redone the Neo-Nazi chap so far. I'll have a look at the others sooner or later (adjusting the hair is quite time consuming). Any ideas on an overall look for the Allies leader? I was going along the lines of "Old WW2 Field Marshall with big moustache" sort of thing initially, but it's your call.

I'll sign up on the other forums too.

Do you have a copy of it without the word "SAMPLE" stamped across it? It'd be easier to work with. If not, I can have a go at photoshopping out the text, or recreating something similar myself (which might not work at all, but on the other hand may be good for race image consistency).

Hey, well - i don't mean to sound off a bit tricky; but i believe the two buddies below for Allies were indeed some heads-torso type of stuff.
They may not have been fleshed up while showing up clear eyes or funny hairdos - call me an abstract freak for --unconventional-- choices!

I had a go at the Lizardman one. I've not managed to replicate the look of your original one exactly, but for a hand drawn image (or "mouse drawn", I suppose would be more accurate) I think the general sort of feel of it is pretty close. It doesn't look too out of place sat next to the human folk I did earlier either - they look (to a degree) as though they could conceivably be from the same universe (in terms of art style etc).

I'll do the trade screens for this fella tomorrow (How does a Lizard smile, by the way?) and see about making that Commie chap look a little less friendly.

Anyway, I'll probably tweak this a little more when I'm trying to sort his different trade screen expressions out, but here he is, the scaly little fellow.
