Why can't i purchase my expansion to GC2 with my tokens i bought. The only reason i bought the tokens was so that i could use them to buy GC2 and the expansion when it came out. Am I doing something wrong ?

Where are you trying to do it at? You can buy TA with tokens on its TGN page.
