Back in the game

I was looking for on an E-book I had saved who knows where and I saw the Icon for Space Rangers  2 on my desktop and started it up again after more then 6 months of not playing.  I forgot how awesome this game is, but can not remember a thing about it.  I can not seem to find any good reading on the game anymore... Are there any sites left with good space rangers info?

...but you have to log in before you can browse the threads - this is supposedly because there was a huge spammer crisis over a year ago. There's parctically no-one there anymore.

Octopus Overlords had a great faq thread, but OO hasn't recovered from it's crash (and if it ever does who knows what is left of the old threads)
