ToA Metaverse scores

Are they separate from DA, DL?

I was curious to see what kind of metaverse scores are being posted on ToA. I was especiallu curious to see if some of the DA/DL stalwarts were posting the same kind of scores. But I could not figure if the scores are tracked separately. Is it possible to see just ToA scores to get a sense of what kind of scores are achievable? I dont post Metaverse scores but I would like to know where the benchmarks are.

As far as I know there is no separate reporting (yet?) in Metaverse or AltMeta between DA/DL and TA.

So far the TA scores have been lower overall compared to DA/DL, mainly due to the following reasons:
1) Tougher economy early on
2) Advanced AI makes it more difficult reaching the same objectives at the same difficulty level, so makes it harder to obtain the same score
3) New tech trees, in particular the fact that some key score boosters such as Tech Capital, Spin Control Center and Mind Control Center take longer to research or no longer work the same (MCC incorrectly gave a 100% economy boost; now it doesn't do anything anymore)

As for benchmarks, you can compare yourself to the AltMeta scores since they are divided by galaxy size (3 classes) and victory type (military vs non-military).

Also, the current version of TA has at least 2 very exploitable bugs that could have a huge positive impact on score, and the well documented tech inflation bug that effectively cripples all AIs - making it far too easy to beat them into submission.

The bottom line is that it just isn't worth it at the moment. The game is in desperate need of an update.

4.) Ship maintenance makes the old strat of SB arrays not as effective. No more 15000+ little ships sitting under all those starbases racking up points.

Maybe they ought to leave the inifinite tiles bug, if only to counter-act the maitenance expense and loss of a working MCC :).

Though forget about a quick technology victory under those conditions... At least for us mortals ;)
