Mt St Helens Cam

like watching grass grow??

For those of you JU users who are interested in the great phenomena caused by this dynamic Earth we live on.. well we've heard about the recent volcanic activity at Mt St Helens.. well here is the cam guys...

Link

Although I find it interesting to see whats happening .. I couldnt imagine myself sitting there watching it unless there was some major eruption. But what I find exciting is that from the other side of the world I can get online and see almost in real time what is happening in one of the hot spots on the globe.

Volcanoes have a special place in my soul .. my mother was born on an island off Italy where there is an active volcano, so I guess it is in my blood. It is interesting though how there are a few volcanoes going off around the world at the moment. Some sort of pressure relief for this planet.

Thank you technology!

Very nice. These cams are becoming more and more popular on the net. When I was in Korea, I found a link at the Hawaii state website where you could check out the traffic cams. It was a way to see what traffic was like at the intersections you might have to travel through on your way to work. Sometimes when I was bored or really missed my wife (and the time was right in Hawaii), I'd log on just for the miniscule chance of seeing a shot with her car...

Cool PB,
I have been to the main observation post. It has a great view of the park but not as good a look into the crater.
Woohoo Surfers paradise has 3 ft swells but they will blow out later. Tech can be cool.
