Liberals created conservative talk radio

Here is how I got to this discovery.

Liberals had a total monopoly on television news programming and news reporting. This became apparent in the early 70’s when liberals demanded and received the fairness doctrine. The fairness doctrine was a simple move to stop conservatives and republicans from having even one show on television or the radio. Here is how it was designed. Any political show had to have equal time. If a liberal position is espoused then equal time must be given to the opposing view. Here is how it worked. The moderator would praise the liberal view and give it as much credibility and leeway as possible. When the conservative or republican view is then left up to the conservative or republican set the stage and then explain his point of view and why it is important for the welfare of the nation. Usually by the time the person has set the stage and is half way through the explanation he has used up all the time that the liberal had used because the moderator used the station time to set the stage and explain why it was important to the nation. This is what liberals called fair.

Once the fairness doctrine became law they petitioned the government to subsidize a national radio network called National Public Radio or NPR.  The charter of NPR was to espouse the alternative view of the majority. That view was the liberal view. It was being “fair” because the republicans won the presidential election and therefore the majority of the nation must think republican. So the liberals lied or misrepresented the truth. Their point of view was simply put. There was no liberal or as they put it alternative view in the media and the government should put forth the other side so Americans can have both sides of the liberal view.

At the same time congress forbade AM radio from going stereo. Only FM could use this new thing called stereo, and NPR was only on FM stations. So the most thoughtful and intelligent shows were on NPR. By 1979 President Carter had so devastated the nation that a little known DJ on AM radio was allowed to put forth his views. It caught on and this guy is the most popular radio show in the nation with 25 million listeners a week. This was laughed at when he began in but soon he had 600 stations nation wide and even conservatives listened to him even though he was on AM instead of the more intelligent FM station. Rush Limbaugh was the only one that did conservative radio nation wide and he was the sole competition to all three major television news and programs, plus each college radio station in the nation and NPR.

Now there is Rush in the morning and noon, Sean Hannity in the after noon, and Michael Savage in the evening. There are others that try but those three are the big ones. Along with that you have Fox news channel. Now for the last 90 months in a row Fox news has been the number one cable news station and all it has is 2 million viewers. It beats CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNBC in all major time slots.

Because of this the liberals want to bring back the fairness doctrine because there is no liberal view for to hear or see. Three conservative radio shows equaling 9 hours of programming a day. Against all the radio stations in the nation pushing the “alternative view”

6 major networks putting out 24/7 news information, and programming against little old Fox news channel.

What the liberals are saying is that even though they spout hate and discontent no one is listening to them.

The news papers are on deaths door because they refuse to even consider offering both points of view and allowing you to make the choice as to who is right or wrong. The big 6 are on the same path and it is not that they are putting out junk no one wants to hear or see, it is because evil conservatives have a monopoly on what we all see and hear, just because Fox does not spin the news. They tell both sides and let you the viewer choose who is right or wrong. Hannity and Combs follows the fairness doctrine the way it was designed. Combs have the exact amount of air time as Hannity. Yet it is seen as a conservative television show.

Liberalism created conservative talk radio because people are tired of being told how stupid they are. If Rush was as much of a jerk as the liberals say then people would not listen to him and he would go out of business.

Air thought that they would do what Mr. Limbaugh did and they would make millions just like Rush. What they did was act as they claimed Mr. Limbaugh acted in their eyes. They were hateful, vindictive, ham handed, and they preached hate 24/7. They could not get sponsors because no company wanted to support such vile hate speech. The net result is that Rush Limbaugh is worth 100 million dollars a year and Air has been bankrupt for all except the first two months of operation.

In the liberal mindset it was not that the content of Air sucked and depressed all that listened to it. It was the evil conservatives that somehow fixed it so Air failed.

Over half of Mr. Limbaugh’s listeners are democrats and some are liberal democrats. He says thing that make you think and he stays true to his conservative beliefs. Air on the other hand could not get enough liberal or even democrats to listen to the hate shows and buy the few products advertised. The show was bankrolled by very rich and powerful people that would not advertise the products that made them rich and powerful on Air . E-surance was founded by a liberal democrat yet he advertises on Rush Limbaugh’s show. Half the products advertised on Rush’s show are companies that are owned by liberal democrats. They continue to make him rich while he makes them rich. They are smart enough not to advertise with a loser like Air . Even though they donated millions to Air they would not risk their business with Air .

The point is that liberals run most media outlets their ideology is not welcome by the majority of the nation.
