 :) Wow, 100,000 downloads, I can hardly believe it. My Daddy always told me it was okay to toot your own horn cause no one is going to do it for you. I just wanted to thank all of you who appreciate my artwork and download it to display on your desktop. It gives me such a thrill to know that others find my work worthy of downloading.

This all started about 17 months ago for me. My stepson was here visiting for Christmas and he was Googling to find a New Years wallpaper for his laptop. I told him to go to Win Customize and look there. He still couldn't find anything he liked, so I said "well, let me make you something". After I had made it for him, he said, why don't you put this on the Net? I said  "naw, it isn't that good.”  Well, to make a long story short, he talked me into posting it and that is how it all began for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating these walls and I thank each and everyone of you who have helped me to be a success. Please feel free to visit my gallery to see what I have to offer.

I do like your work but rarely download it.

I think (know) you'd have a lot more if you'd do a few more sizes for each.....

1280x1024 is a bastard size and doesn't scale up/down to any other usable resoultion. It is kinda standard on 17 inch monitors, but including 1600x1200 & 1920x1200 would cover pretty much all monitors by allowing someone to scale up or down.

Lantec, I apologize for the size of the images. I have a Samsung 19 inch monitor and the 1280x1024 is the native resolution. I have tried to do walls in different resolutions, but it is very hard to view how the finished product will look if you don't have that size monitor. Further, it would entail rendering the image more than once to get the correct dimensions for the flame. This in itself causes a problem when you are working on a 7 year old dinosaur that takes forever to render because your memory is maxed out at 512MB. Heck, it takes more than five minutes for Photoshop to open on my machine. One of these days, I will scrimp enough together to replace the beast!
