Suggestions for docklets!

Hi all, I'm rather new to this whole docklets thing and I've found it to be most amazing. I'm looking for several specific docklets so if anyone could point me towards them or be so kind as to consider coding them i would be most grateful.

Here's the wishlist :
1)   Taskbar Monitor - A docklet that would indicate to you what are the open windows on the tradtional taskbar. ObjectDock is great but when I'm on MSN, i usually can't tell if i've gotten a new msg or if someone else starts talking to me.

2)   Dictionary/Google Search - I know this sounds silly (and lazy) but this would allow you to do an immediate search on Google or Dictionary.com straight off the docklet w/o out it first opening your web browser.

3)   A countdown timer - I think i saw one but it doesnt count back far enough. I'm looking forward to something in a year's time so it would be nice to have a docklet that displays the number of days till then =)

4)   A to-do list - There's one here already but perhaps something that further expands on it. It allows you to only enter 1 note. I'm looking for a docklet that would let me write several notes and display them all when i mouseover the docklet.

5)   Multiple Docklets - Something similar to tabbed docklets i think. AveDesk has one so i was wondering if it was possible to port it over to ObjectDock.

Alright, that's it! I know some of it is rather ridiculous but I would appreciate any help I can get here.

Thanks!

You can setup both the free and + versions of ObjectDock to show open windows.

Well I can't really help you answer any of your other questions. But let's give the thread a little bump so maybe others that can help will notice it.

Is there anywhere else with a collection of ObjectDock docklets? I've looked and all i've found is wincustomize and dockex.

I just upgraded to ObjectDock Plus but my search docklet doesn't seem to work.
I get this message.
"Search Docklet load failed. Please check your installation. "

thenumber7 before upgrading to ObjectDock Plus did you uninstall ObjectDock, might be the problem if you didn't.  ;)

I just uninstalled the free version and it's still not working. There isn't another web search docklet is there?

If you had installed plus over the free version if may have messed things up. Uninstall ObjectDock Plus. run a clean up program like CCleaner, use a register clean if you have one, reboot and then reinstall ObjectDock Plus. Hopefully that will clean it up for you. ;)

Nope. Uninstalled both the free and plus versions. Ran CCleaner till the registry had no more issues. Reinstalled ObjectDock Plus but still the web search wont work!

I went back to see if you identified your OS, what are you running? It might help identify a bug.

It maybe time for you to email [email protected] and start a ticket. I have to believe the support folks would have an snswer for you.

Oops, here's a thought, maybe it's a firewall issue.  :NOTSURE:

I suppose most of us are using the stack docklet. But is there anyway to tweak it so that instead of showing us a folder, it shows us another dock. Tabbed docks aren't for me i guess. Too messy.

If only Yz' docklets could work on Objectdock's. I found the taskbar docklet thing i was looking for but it's not compatible. Is there anyone that can do a port?

Hi, I'm trying to close a windows by draging off it's dock entry, the same way you destroy a shortcut from the dock. Any ideas?

If it's a running application, you won't be able to drag it off the dock.

I have the same problem.  I am running Object Dock Plus and the Google search was working fine until I installed Google Desktop on my compuer an then the Google search stopped working.  Are you running Google Desktop?  Maybe that's the culprit.  I'll start a new ticket and see if I get any advice.
