Damn that crazy edit button. Made the first two posts without it showing up and now that I made the third post the edit button is showing on the first of the 3 and not the others.

Anyways...

Just realized you said for FF2 but it does work with FF3 RC1 also.

I've had GlassToasts installed here for a while but haven't been running it for some reason. I didn't notice until just now.

I looked at the GlassToast app and D/L it. I didn't care for the warning about how it can crash explorer.

I love this kind of stuff, but would rather see it tried, tested, and reviewed somewhere before I install it.

It all looks very interesting though.

Glass Toast is a sweet looking app, but I've been using this tiny free app that gives you a live thumbnail of your minimized windows called Visual Tool Tip with XP for almost 5 years now. It's invisible and I've never had a problem with it. Although I will admit Glass Toast does look much nicer.

Just tried it...not bad, but wish is was more like the Vista one (same size for all thumbnails, quicker, nicer display, etc). Was using too much CPU, had to axe that app.

Bebi, just checked my CPU whilst GlassToast was running and watched what happened with the CPU when a pop up balloon came up and the CPU jumped up from 3 per cent to 60 per cent for about 1.5 seconds and then returned 4 per cent. That's what I'd expect when you do anything with any program when it leaps into life. It's also using 6MB of memory which is negligible. I'm running it on a laptop, AMD Turon 64 Cpu, 1024 MB of Ram with XP SP3. Not sure why it's eating the CPU on your machine as it's quiet as a mouse on mine.  :)

Used to use that (or a similar one) when I tried out Window Xs VTP. Got tired of it kind of quickly.

Of course this was before I found Windowblinds and Stardock ;)
