What do you want to see reviewed?

Hello Community!!

I've been thinking lately about how I can add depth to my blog articles.

One of the thoughts I've had is to ask you all to participate.

I'd like to know if there is a blind or wall you'd like to see made into a review theme?

What I have in mind is, you choose some walls, or blinds that I haven't done yet, and I take that information and pair it with skins that will compliment then tell you how it turned out.

All I ask is that I get to decide if the skin should stay as is, or be recolored, lightened,darkened etc... (with the exception of walls, I find it very difficult to recolor those and have only done one with any success.)

Any takers?

The more ideas you can come up with, the more original reviews I can create.  I'd like to have some fun with this.

wulfn1 your reviews thus far have been great as is.

I don't have time right now to pick particular skins and find links but I know you like to find some nice older gems as much as I do. I think reviews on these older skins would be great because I'm sure there are alot of great looking functional skins that newer users are missing out on.

I know I've been sifting through the galleries since last Novemeber and still to this day I probably download 40-50 new skins a week that I haven't come across before.

Also I'm not sure if you want to stick to just things that can be found here on Wincustomize or not but if not then there are some really good skins over at skinartistry.com also. ;)

as far as walls go, if you see a nice wall somewhere, that I can utilize I will do my best to feature it. But as far as skins go, I prefer to stay here at wc.
I'll keep the elderly skins in mind when hunting.
My main purpose was to get an idea of what others like to look at. thus far I've been featuring mostly skins and walls I like personally, with a few exceptions, that others have suggested and I found interesting to try out. That's why I figured I'd toss this challenge out to any interested who would like to see things they find interesting featured.

This way you aren't just seeing my tastes, but everyone's ideas gelled together.

Plus I think it will be a fun challenge to try and create some pairings that will appeal to others.

I have a suggestion that's just a bit/slightly/a hair off topic.........

What about spotlighting a particular persons works.....someone who's done at least a couple skins/walls etc. and take requests for who vs. what.....I guess it could be a bit overwhelming for people like Night Train, Adni, etc. who've done dozens of skins. Just a thought.

That's a great suggestion Lantec, Will keep it in mind!
The only worry I have is I try to bring several artists works together to create something unique. If I center on one artist, it's something people will have seen before theme wise.But I will see if I can figure a way to spotlight a single artist, and maybe pull from other's libraries to create something new. hmmmm... think think think....

ok I'll take this as a no and continue as I have in the past.
with the exception of spotlighting one artist a week.
