Impulse needs a refresh button.

When my dialup connection went down in the middle of a page load, I got quite the collage of html elements.  It would be nice if there were some way to reload the page.

A refresh button would be nice, along with a statusbar.

Yes would be very nice addition.
Also just to load content for last tab opened (and not other tab contents in the background) like SDC on startup and maybe to check for latest impulse version on x many startups too as version check takes too long and I am on T1 speed.

F5 refreshes.

I've just pressed F5 and I don't feel refreshed. I feel just as hot and sticky as I did five minutes ago ;p

Since I originally made this post, I'm sure some of you have since read about how I currently feel about Impulse. I'm of the opinion that Stardock will have to turn Impulse' code inside out and upside down if they ever hope to get it to run efficiently over dialup connections. Adding a refresh button to Impulse compared to that problem seems a trivial, even useless improvement at best, and derisively laughable at worst. Nevertheless, in the hopes of that improvement actually happening I offer the following comments:

Thanks Zubaz... I'll try to remember that the next time it happens. Still, it would be nice to have a refresh button though.

And Bebi, I'll vote for the status bar, too. It seems as if the bottom of the window falls off into deep space when it lacks that extra definition. And it's nice to know what the program is doing after you just pressed that last button, and nothing seems to be happening.

Ausvet... for that matter, have a version check only when the user asks for one. Also, it might not be a bad idea to give the user a radio button series where they can select from among "no automatic checks", "check every x number of runs" or "check on every run".
