Undressing Files!!!???

My files are fully clothed and decent

Yo Fuzzy!! Serious question here!!! What good is IconPackager if the icons package falls off!!! I am glad that your files are fully clothed but I was looking for a real answer to a real problem.....

What OS? What version of IconPackager?

Does it occur all the time or just after you have used your computer with very "graphic intensive" (Photosphop, Games....) programs?

What Graphics-card are you using, and are your drivers up-to-date?

OS Vista Ultimate, IconPackaqer 4 (latest version) Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT..drivers are all current...The files are skinned as lists and small icons... I keep them set to medium icons so I can see them...Windows Experience Index for graphics Aero:5.9 Gaming: 5.6.......

I know what you mean now. I just had a look at my Icons in Explorer (I usually have set it to "list") and I noticed that when setting it to "medium" and "large" IconPackager applies the 'LiveFolders' for Vista.

This is (to my knowledge) completely normal but it seems that IP is a bit slow applying the LiveFolder-icons, and when scrolling down it becomes visible that the normal Folder-Icons (the same ones that would be used by XP) are replaced by the Vista LiveFolders. These Folder-Icons are designed to show you also the content of the folder; for example a folder that contains mostly pdf-files, will have a pdf-sign embedded within the LiveFolder.

I also have to add here, that not all IconPackages are Vista ready yet and do not have the LiveFolders skinned. This is where IP will use the default Windows LiveFolders.

However, in IconPackager, on the LiveFolders tab you can set IP to choose certain LiveFolders from an IP-pack that has them included.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I went back to windows default icons.. restarted my computer and applied IconPackager again.... It works now!!!! All folders are properly skinned and they don't undress!!!!! Not sure what the issue was, but now my files are also fully clothed and decent... Thanks for your help.

At last WinCustomize has returned to it's normal fully clothed decency. We don't like nudity here.

Aufisch is probably still nekkid, but we don't mind that...  ;p

Glad you got it sorted out, I might have to try that on my system and see whether that improves the icon-drawing.



Clothing are a womans best friend when it comes to glossing over those certain areas like hips and belly that seem to miraculously grow each winter.
