And there it is! My first metaversegame and this is my first post ever on any kind of forum.

Anyway. Does anybody know how one gets ranked. Next to my character it says unranked!

The Metaverse ranking update evey 12 hours, somewhere around 2-3 o'clock EST. So you will see your ranking appear then. :)

Congrats Nemo and welcome to the forums :) . I almost had never posted to a forum either before coming here, but there is a lot of helpful, friendly people around that just keeps ya coming back. Oh Yea!, and the excellence that is GC2 as well ;) .

If you want the icons to show up below your posts you need to log in to the Metaverse, then go to the pull down menu for "Account" and click on "Edit My Characters". On the right hand side there will be a greyed out button saying Default. Click on that and you'll have these wonderful icons following you around the forum.

Speaking of ranking...

I've been playing for years, but only recently decided to submit metaverse games. What's the deal with the ranking? Is claims that, after but four games, I am 986. Surely that can't mean that there are only 985 players ahead of me.

Yup. It does. Not everyone plays Metaverse matches and I think a lot of people only play a couple and forget about it. Plus, you scored pretty well in your games. It adds up quick.

Huh. How about that. When it comes to online stuff, I just assume that I'm at the sucky end, since I don't have a lot of time to play. (MMOs and FPS online are out, because I get it handed to me by 14 y/os within 30 seconds.) As for my scores...well, I see all these meta badges for "Suicidal" and "1400 games won" and what-not, that I just assumed that my measly scores wouldn't matter.


I mainly did some meta games, 'cause my posts looked boring with out badges. :HOT:
