Removing an icon's shortcut overlay

Did this feature and ability disappear with the new version of Icon Packager?

I for one appreciated this simple option and wish the developers would put it back into IP4. It was a great way to clean up those annoying shortcut arrows.

I am not sure whether it is included or not but this can be achieved by another way too.
Just edit the iconpackage you are using and select any blank icon file(which you can get in shell32.dll file too) for the shortcut overlay.

Thanks for the info Haptork and as it is right now I'm about ready to try your suggestion. The ability was just so much easier in the older version of Icon Packager. My thinking is, if enough people show that they miss it, the developers may put this option back into an updated version.

There's an easier way (if you're on XP): TweakUI from MS.

Thanks BB, I really didn't think about tweak as a solution. But yeah, that works! I just found an option in Tune-up Utility's "Tune-up Styler" that allows you to shut off the overlay as well.

Thanks again for the speedy reply and for the help BB...
