Sins of a Solar Empire v1.05 Released

from Sins Forums

Sins of a Solar Empire version 1.05 is now available to all registered owners of the game.  This new update includes two new maps plus a number of multiplayer and single-player fixes. For a full change log, please check out this thread.

To obtain the new patch, just click on the Download Updates button from the Sins main menu, or use our new Impulse client (beta).

updated to 1.05 with stardock central but ...

no support of Sins_Bonuspack_10x_setup.exe any more?

I am bit confused about all the accounts (soase, stardock, ironclad ...)

In the past I saw the soundtrack mp3 download but I never found it again.

Excellent, it'll be a lot easier to convince my friends to try this (still loyal to Company of Terrible Balance, even though we've all agreed competitive arranged team is almost unplayable) with the crashes taken care of.

Looking forward to the fixing of strike craft in 1.1, so the 'counter-circle' will no longer be broken and one unit-spamming will stop.

I may be the only person on earth with this problem  X-( 

Uh... the computer I have Sins on does not have internet access.
Until now I never had a problem getting a patch and getting it to my computer.
I realize this is a topic for the forums, but I thought I'd get a quicker response here.
How do you get the update off of Impulse if the computer doesn't have Sins on it?
I can't seem to figure it out.

Question is....will all the mods out there work with this patch??? I'm wary to download a patch thats going to render everything I have useless. This happened when v1.04 came out, some of my favorite mods still don't work. (heavy sigh)

damn, I can no longer watch or load saved games. I was using 1.04+BailKnight's Graphic Mod 1.2. Does anyone know how to make such saved games load with 1.05. Playing new games seems to work fine with the mode.

My computer with sins on it is not my computer with the net, how do i get the latest patch, im at 1.04 atm. Usually i find the dl link and take the patch home on USB. I cant install the dl program on my work computer! Id get shot...at least.

On a brighter note though, thankyou very much for the support the comunity recieves. There a very few games that have reponses as quick or as often from the devs. Cheers guys, thanks for all the work and help.

Did not load a v1.04 game I had. Did a file dump, and program stopped working. Where do I upload the filedump?

A few of us have issues getting 1.04 saves to work. Probably not completely compatible.

Where is the "Download Updates" button in your site (Haven't needed it since 1.04, and impulse makes no sense)

Do I need to use my dad's computer (the one I originally typed in that 30 digit code from the sticker), or will it remember me from my call sign...

anyway, I looked in all the sub-menus and haven't found that button anywhere...

Nevermind, I found it under Stardock Account stuff, and it was just sitting there waiting for me to find it...
