with an ever changing world, one has to constantly re-evalute their own opinion. If we did not change our opinions on matters, then many things in this world would be different--i.e. woman's rights, african american rights...the list goes on.

yeah but kerry changed his opinion to beat Dean in the primaries... I hate it when people say you have to change, because that doesnt apply here. You can't be as "flexable"(weak) as Kerry if you are fighting a war. The way you just likened his changes of opinions to something like the abolishment of slavery is sort of disturbing

This holds absolutely no bearing on the Iraq war. Which is most of what the video deals with.

The thing I hate the most about Kerry's flip-flops is that he wears them everywhere... the movies, the mall, Congress, even to Denny's... oh, wait, not those kind of flip flops... sorry, I lived in Hawaii for a while...

Sounds like the spin cycle on my washing machine... HAHA!

"oh wait, not those kind of flip flops"

That's funny!

Remember, when Bush changes his position, he's clarifying. Kerry is flip-flopping. Many conversations here make more sense if you make that internal translation.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I usually stay away from the political forums, but had I only known they were this fun, I would have jumped in much sooner...

See, this is because Bush changes his position when he believes something needs changing; Kerry changes his opinion when his political career can be furthered by it. We saw it in the primaries, we see it again today. As Cheney said in the VP debates:
"If he can't stand up to Dean, how can he stand up to Bin Laden"(or something to that effect)
