A Tribute suite for BoXXi

I was just thinking about the community suite and stuff and an idea has come up that I wanna chuck at you.

I was thinking that we could do a tribute suite to someone who has recently left WC, that being BoXXi. He's been a big part of this community and I think we could all put together this suite as a tribute to someone who's meant a bit to the community.

I was thinking we could take one of his blind/icon sets and tweak/insert complete suite out of it

Potenial skin choices: (trying to pic skins with no extra stuff so we can make them)

Umm . .one thing . . permission would be needed before anything could be done with anything.


Boxxi gave free permission to use his work when he announced his leaving. It is here on the forum somewhere. I have it as a text file, in case it was ever needed.

Just a thought but an alternate route to updating an existing Windowblind.

His Firestorm DesktopX Theme never had anything done to go with it and looks like something that could have some great potential as a Windowblind and full suite. :NOTSURE:

But zu.....didnt boxxi say that we had permission in his fairwell post?......or do we need extra extra permission?


His post stated that he was leaving permission to use any of his skins as he would not be here to give permission ...

Yes, that's great idea... a new WB, IP, OD and Cursor, etc, to go with BoXXi's Firestorm DX theme. Now that would be a fitting tribute to a great skinner indeed.

Another of BoXXi's DX themes that'd look great as a suite, although he already did a beaut WB for it, is Engine Room. Yeah, I'd love to see what kittymalone could do with that awesome concept as a new/updated WB... it'd be something pretty special, I reckon. :)
