Is LogonStudio XP still under developement?

Or has Stardock limited themselves to future versions working only on Vista?

I don't think LogonStudio XP is getting any more updates.

LogonStudio Vista is a seperate program.

LogonStudio for XP is pretty feature rich.  As rich as XP supports I think.
I think Philly is right though.

One thing that it can't do is preview. Many of the logons I download look good -- until you look at them at my monitor's native resolution, 1680x1050. Some of them appears to be designed for 1024x768. Others only provide space for three user names. Mine happens to be the last of 4. So if there is only 3, I have to scroll.

yep

people design them for the resolution they use or are capable of using.

Me, my monitor only allows 800x600, 960x600 and 1024x768

those created in LS are the easiest to fix by going in and changing the settings and/or resizing the background

I've got one or two that only show one user at a time

those modified in the file are harder to fix

at least a lot of uploaders are putting the resolution in the description

Didn't deserve a new topic for this question so I'll resurrect this older thread for my question:

I've a skin (LK from DuoPixart) that doesn't display the logon screen correctly at my resolution of 1680x1050. I went to edit it but can't find LogonXP anymore on my system. Is this still available for users that registered Object Desktop 2007 and have since upgraded to OD Ultimate recently and are now running Impulse instead of SDC?

Similar to BootSkin, LogonStudio XP can be showed in impulse by ticking the "Show pre-releases" option.

You will find it in C:\Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio

The best way to edit; if you have the 1440 version, open LS, select skin, click edit button, when editor opens select center panel, set Pic Width to 1650 and Pic Height to 950. It is 950 as the bottom panel is 100 which together will give you 1050.

My bad. BootSkin used to be there.
They manage to remove BootSkin, but add a dublicate of Icon Packager. Please solve this Stardock, you can offer both BootSkin and LogonStudio XP even though they are legacy products.
