Network Optimiser

For Windows XP, Intel Adapter, D-Link Modem

http://www.balaji-themis.co.in/college.htm

I am using Intel motherboard, Windows XP as OS, Internet Explorer v.7 as my preferred web-browser, and D-Link modem. Suddenly, my browser started hanging while trying to open certain Microsoft websites like www.hotmail.com, www.msn.com, www.microsoft.com etc. It somtimes hung while opening the In-Box of Yahoo, too.

Neither the support staff for Hotmail nor the support staff for D-Link (India) succeeded in diagnosing the problem.

Ultimately, the Support Staff of D-Link (Australia) stated that they had a remedy. And it worked. I wish to share the same with you. Here is the Link:

I ran into that same problem with my D-link, that is why I switched to a Apple Extreme Router . . . much better response time, better connection and much more secured. In all from the time I got home, opened the box, read the instructions, and installed all software on 2 desktops and 2 laptops, it was one hour. I VERY, VERY Happy with that product - no down time, no issues of IP changing addresses and so on. I will never use a D-Link again. The support is very bad and they treat you like idiots.
