Taskbar help....

I want to change the color of my task bar but I don't know how. I'm running Windows XP and I don't want to buy Vista yet cus I heard there are still some kinks to work out. So does anybody got advice or instructions how to do this?

PS - I am not a computer wiz so please don't get mad if I ask alot of questions....

I don't think there is an easy setting to just change the taskbar.

which taskbar?

the one that's part of a window or the on with start menu and system tray?
