Pardon me, but totally confused on what to buy

quickly please

I like and want to use the object dock it's the motivator.

I don't want a bunch of heavy software hogging my resources. (For the record: 3gb mem Dual Core Vista HP SP1)

I like to operate lean.

I want a better desktop manager thus again object dock.

What do I need to purchase so that I have all possible options I might want at my fingertips, yet not anything I don't need?

I can't even find a "quick description" of anything.

I don't want to create stuff, though once in a while I break out the CS3.
I don't want to spend time I don't have reading crap I don't need to, I have enough on my plate.

I just want to be legal and happy, and quickly.

PS is there a bundle that's just object dock and Window blinds?  Does object dock come with Window Blinds?

Well, it sounds like you just want WindowBlinds to me. If you go here (WWW Link), you can buy the full version.

You may want to try using the OD free version for a while and see whether it suits your needs. The primary difference between the free and plus versions is the ability to use tabbed docks. If you need more functionality, you can buy the plus version from the same link above.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting Object Desktop Ultimate. I don't really know how to use it, though. What a NOOB!

justhefacts, give rightclick a look, slick looking, easy to configure, almost0% resource use. You can almost forget about your start menu and ObjectDock,It's great! And some good skins for it also. Welcome to ODNT! Have fun. :D
