IE Buttons Not Centered

I did not skin these buttons, so I'm assuming that there is a margin setting somewhere that is doing this. Anybody know where I can find it? I have to be looking in the wrong places.

Another question. I tried to include a font file in the windowblind but it's not working. I'd love it if the font can automaticaly be installed rather than a person having to do it manually. Do you know if that function works in SKS6 yet? Or am I doing something wrong?

Don't know about the first question, but on the second; Copy Font Files doesn't seem to work in SKS6.

But if you manually copy the font file to the skin folder, then open SKS6, open your skin, click Change Skin Fonts and click Included Font Files, the font you copied will be in the drop down list.

I haven't zipped a skin for distribution after doing that to verify that the font file is actually in the WBA, but it should be there. :)

There arent any margins for those buttons Xiandi, they shouldnt be off center if you havent skinned them tho, they are standard IE7 buttons.

My advice would be to skin the buttons and the backgrounds, they use the same back-forward buttons as explorer, 4 states (different images for each state) however even tho IE and Explorer share buttons they do not share the same button background. Yout have to design a different 4 state background image for each Explorer and IE.. the images size a little differently so you can't really use the same one for each if you want it to look right.

Once skinned corrctly they will make a huge difference in the appearance of a Vista skin.

Thanks, Pic. I didn't know you could do that.

vStyler, so if I'm reading that right, those buttons could be off because I skinned the explorer icons and those are connected to the IE buttons? If that's the case, then, if I adjust the explorer icons the IE buttons will move up?
Wont that make the explorer icons too high?

ok, no, you will need to skin both background images and one set of buttons that are shared by IE and explorer. However, if you have skinned the explorer buttons they should be showing in IE too.. and apprently arent.

Naturally...

I assumed u meant u were on vista when you said you had skinned the explorer icons i thought u meant the back forth icons in IE7 Vista.. Well, then I hate to say it, i have no idea why they are misaligned Xiandi, have never used Ie7 in XP.

sorry.

Thanks anyway, vStyler, I appreciate the help. I guess I'll have to do more searching to find out why. I'll get it figured out....eventually.  ;)

I've been searching for the reason the buttons are too low, and I can't find it! I've been tweaking everything I can think of and nothing is moving them.

If anybody can think of something I could try, I'd be grateful.

Hooray!!!! It's fixed!! Voidcore, you are a genius!  :D

I did'nt have that button skinned, but I tried playing with the margins anyway...no effect. So I figured, maybe it was the regular button under that same section. Sure enough, once I zeroed those margins, it popped right into place!

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! ( I cant't believe out of all the margins I toyed with, I missed that one)
