Can't load map editor

Hi all,

I downloaded twlight of the arnor, but can't seem to load the map editor.  the game goes straight to the intro, and does not open with the screen that allows one to pick an editor.  then, when i try to go to the actual folder (ie Program Files/Stardock/Total Gaming/Galciv2/Twlight/Tools etc) and click on the icon for map editor, it says : "the application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem."  I've re-installed 2-3 times now. 

Any ideas?

You'll need to go to the game folder, then to the Twilight folder and create a shortcut to TALaunch.exe located there. You can also change it in the properties setting and set that as your target program.
