Win DPI and Windowblinds Font increase

There is something fishy going on... a bug?

I can't quite work out what's going on here, and after about 20 reboots (unavoidable) I am getting a bit fed up.. I think there is some kind of bug-like behaviour preventing me from adjusting the font size to the nice comfy size I would like...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1) In Vista SP1, right-click on Desktop, select 'Personalise'.
2) Choose 'Adjust Font Size' in the left hand Panel.
3) Increase Font Size to 115% or so... (a very modest adjustment..)
4) Reboot as requested by Vista.
5) After Reboot go into Windowblinds Config and navigate to the Font adjustment tab. (a skin should be active, use "Acrylic" for example, but problem is more or less ubiquitous.)
6) Drag the slider ever so slightly to the right and hit Apply.
7) Voila, the menu text in Windowblinds is now white instead of dark blue. It has a corrupted blurry look to it. Open Firefox - the address bar text fields are white and corrupt looking (should be black). Open Windows Explorer - may also look slightly corrupted.

I tried turning Vista DPI back to "normal" and Windowsblinds fonts back to normal. It sometimes fixed the problem, sometimes not. I couldn't see a reliable pattern for when the problem occurred or not...

Does anyone know how I can play around with font sizes while WB is enabled, without being affected by this behaviour / bug? Is it in fact a bug, or what could be going in? Well it can hardly be a 'feature' and it looks apalling, so I guess it must be a bug?!

I am often quite far from the monitor, and love large easy-to read text.
:D I really want this to work.

Grateful for any input or advice...!

Cordelia

Thanks for the response Bichur. :)
I will certainly try this and report back.
But why do you say that? (just trying to understand what you think is causing the problem...)

Hm ok..... But it's a pity. I'd rather adjust the font size consistently at OS level instead of in WB.

which text are you looking to be large easy-to read?

brower? most if not all allow text size change

i don't have Vista, but maybe with some specific examples some one else might pop in with a workaround

I like everything BIG! I sit close to monitor all day at work, looking at corporate branded XP and working with spreadsheets, project plans and such in tiny print.
BORING!

I want my computer experience at home to be a completely different and pleasant experience altogether.

Nothing should hard to read; environment should be super pretty and exactly as I want it. Large and comfortable screen... Not a grey user interface or Arial 10 font as long as the eye can see.... It's not a problem in Firefox - I can increase the font size with a mouse click.

In fact; I often lie in my sofa and browse using my TV screen.

===>I don't want to have to get out of the sofa to read the Windows menu text!! :-)
Just a lazy geek girl!!!

So I want easy to read text allround (including menus) [B]
