Quick Gallery

Easy way to preview my dreams

http://wcgallery.mooo.com/
I've been messing around with MS Silverlight and have uploaded a version of my gallery using it. It's a lot easier to preview my dreams using this site. It requires you to install Microsoft's Silverlight, and runs on either FF and IE.

Check it out here: http://wcgallery.mooo.com/

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,
Master Baron

For someone that is still on XP this was a great way for me to view your dreams. You have done some very nice stuff.  :CONGRAT:

This just leaves me with one question. Why can't a DX widget player be made to do this?

I've read very little about Silverlight. I don't think I have it downloaded, unless MS did it in one of the stealth downloads, hehehe, but I had no problem looking at your dreams.

Actually, I just took the video turner from the gallery and fumbled around with it until I got my content into it.

That's pretty cool. Would I be a copy cat if I did mine? ;)

As a mere end-user, I'd love to see a whole gallery of dreams like this. I was wondering what the hell I installed Silverlight for.(1st time I've used it in 3 months)What a great showcase. MasterBaron, you have a most incredible portfolio of dreams. Jaw dropping stuff! CarGuy1,I like your natural look. I just got Deskscapes, but I can see my library will be filled with a lot of both your
dreams.Thank you and keep up the fantastic work! :CONGRAT:  :CONGRAT:  .

I'm using Vista Home Basic 32 bit with NO additional drivers or codecs installed. Silverlight runs fine here.Just go to the MS website and download.

Wow, Baron your Alien is awesome, expected to see the creature to come out of the spacecraft. Very nice and smooth scrolling of the video. Congrats on the best dream I have seen thus far.

Very slick Baron.  How long did it take to put that together?

Thanks again to everyone for the positive response.

It only took an hour to figure this out once I got the video turner sample from the MS Silverlight gallery page. I'm a web developer by day, so reading the javascript wasn't a problem. I also know .NET so that helped with the silverlight parts. I just plugged in my videos and links, ran a batch conversion of my dreams to make lower quality WMV files and uploaded it to all to my site.

I'll be adding some more "fluff" to it when I have time so that it will have some links to my JoeUser and WinCustomize pages.
