Read this if you ordered Twilight of the Arnor on CD!

The CDs *should* start shipping in 2 weeks or so.

Everyone at Stardock is happy to get the final release of Twilight of the Arnor out for download today, but what about the customers who ordered CDs, you say?  We're not forgetting about you!  The company we partner with to create, package, and ship the CDs are beginning the production process as I type this.  It's going to take some time for them to chug out the thousands of CDs we have ordered.  We are looking at about 2 weeks before shipping starts.  Please be patient, and download the game if you can to hold you over (if you haven't already).

Here's an article about transferring a game from an online PC to an offline PC.  This may come in handy for our customers that have slower connections (or no connection) but can download the game at a different PC with a faster connection.

If you placed your preorder for Twilight a long time ago and had an address change, please notify us immediately!  We will need to change it in your record so that your CD gets to you.  Please email [email protected] with your address change.

Nope. Digital download only. Or DD and a CD, or CD, but only from Stardock/TotalGaming. If you order a CD, it will most likely come packaged in a simple sleeve.

This just in - we're looking at another week, at least, before the CDs begin shipping. There was a last minute change to the installer before the CDs went into production.

Yes, US orders will go USPS Priority Mail, which takes 3-5 business days to most locations. International orders will go USPS First Class International mail, which takes 1-3 weeks to most locations. I'll try to get info about what the package will look like once they begin shipping.

That's fine. I'll be away the weekend of the 31st, but since it's USPS, I can easily have them hold my mail, and if it arrives, it'll be safe.

when are the cd's gona ship and how can we track them once they do ship?


read reply #9....(posted on apr. 12)...add 7 days (the average week all over the world)... get Apr. 19 (also note at least) maybe longer.....read post #11.....using US snail mail.....no tracking at all (it's the goverment).....if you are in the US, then no sooner than apr. 21, if not in the US late May, early June. Does your postal servant like you....maybe even later....leave milk and cookies in your mailbox. Buy a book of stamps and get on their good side just in case....also note from #9

The CDs are done! We're looking at a little over 2000 orders for the US and about 800 orders Internationally. Our shipping partner has everyone's information, so now we're just waiting to hear confirmation from them that the packing and shipping process has begun.

I hope this doesn't take as long as Sins took since we had something like 5000 Sins boxes that needed to go out from preorders alone; then we were sending them like 200ish more orders per day after that first big batch of orders. Also, Sins was in a retail box, while Twilight is going to be a CD, no box. (Sorry if that burst anyone's bubbles, but that's how Dark Avatar was.) If I could expedite this process any more, I would.

More news as I get it. I would anticipate the first batch of shipments to go out by the end of the week.

Just confirmed: the first batch of preorders went out today! They are shipping them out in order from first preorder placed to last preorder placed, which seems fair. Orders that were placed more recently will come after that. In our past experience, they can get through the orders pretty fast once they get going.

They will pick up where they left off on Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday.
