"Open with..." KMPlayer

I have downloaded the zip file of kmplayer 2.9.3. and when i extract the zip on my desktop I can rightclick at a .avi file and select open with kmplayer. But when I extract it to c/programs and then rightclicks on a .avi file I cant find the kmplayer icon, then I search for it and selects it and it wont come up in the programlist of programs i can use to open the file. I have tryed to restart my computer over and over again and still no kmplayer icon in "the open with list". I really dont want the map on my desktop :/ Anyone knows what the problem is?

The problem is may be because as u told u extracted it !
Download it from here "http://www.download.com/The-KMPlayer/3000-13632_4-10659939.html?tag=toprated" and INSTALL it on ur hard drive [C]

I think you should extract it to another drive.And you can avoid removing it when you reload your system.
