Grand Theft Auto IV

Anyone else getting this? I have pre-ordered, and will be going to the midnight opening to pick it up. It is due to release this next Tuesday (4/29/08).

I am not sure when the last time I was this excited about a game...maybe Lord of the Rings Online. I just know that this game looks like it is going to be AWESOME.

So many things I am looking forward to. The Euphoria Engine (the game engine) supposedly renders character animations "on-the-fly". And there is multi-player, which sounds REALLY good.

The previews and the couple reviews (so far) are showing incredible promise.

It sounds as though Gamestop/EB Games has a promotion going on, where there is a 20% bonus to trade-in's put towards GTA4.

I need this game like a junkie needs a fix. However, I won't be home and reunited with my Xbox until May 9th or so...hopefully it'll be in stock again by then. Stupid college.

Needless to say I didn't preorder, I'll just snag the game when I get the chance.

And yes...it does look awesome- so very, very awesome.

This will be my third go around with the RROD so when I get my XBOX back from Microsoft Friday, I will consider buying it. MarioKart Wii comes out this Sunday I believe so I don't know what I'm going to do...decisions decisions.

XBOX Official Magazine gave GTA IV a perfect 10 out of 10.

Gaming tastes/interests vary, but clearly this is a very high quality, enjoyable game and worth the $$.

Oh. You can't download from Steam if you live in a different country from where your bank statement is.

Yeah, if I actually could find time, I'd probably get GTA4... But I already have way too many games lying around unfinished.
