Weird thing with ironclad

I tried to play over ironclad online with a friend last weekend. Every time one of us tried to join a game the other created, it said it was disconnected. BUT! We could both join the same game and play just fine. we live really close to each other and had working internet connection and turnd our firewalls off. Suggestions?

the_monk, im with this guy, i have done everything to the T on getting this to work on ironclad. everytime i try and join a game i get a "you have been disconnected" I have gone to the lengths of disabling my windows firewall, virus scan, defender, and plugging directly into the cable modem and still nothing. i even thought maybe it is timewarner being pos's so i tried my sprint card, still didnt work.
