Clinton wants McCain to Win.

Before you say anything, consider this: Hillary Clinton has little chance of winning the race, yet she stays in just the same. The only way she could win is if the superdelegates voted against Obama even though he won in delegates. If this were to happen, the democrats wouldn´t have a chance at winning. Obama supporters would flock to McCain. Here´s the deal: despite this she stays in the race...
    Why?
                1. By staying in the race, and attacking Obama, McCain has a greater chance of beating Obama in the general election.
                2. If McCain wins, Hillary can run for president in 2012.
                3. She would have a good chance of winning at this point given the fact that McCain would be very old (also, if he were to leave, the Republican party would lose part of their unity and would have to choose a new candidate).

I say no that Hillary stays in the race because she thinks she still has a shot at winning. Obama will not reach the magic number of delegates either. She has been neck and neck with him in the polls, is leading in Pennsylvania. Why should she drop out? I think that when it comes to November both Obama and Hillary supporters will vote for the Democratic nominee, whichever one it is. The Presidency will, as always, be decided by the middle ground undecided voters.

Neither will. But I find this theory intriguing. And plausible. The Clintons worked to sabotage Kerry in 04, preparing the way for Hillary in 08. With that history, this one sounds plausible as well.
