DesktpX font install

When you download a desktopX theme, like PuterDudeJim's Rogue Proton gold DX and it says "make sure you install the font provided", how do you actually do this.

Thanx any help would be appreciated :HOT:

Thuglifejunior - you only need to make one post and not 15 on the same subject. Thank you.

Normally when you see that you will get a window that opens up showing you the theme file and a font file. They are normally zipped files.

Usually you can just double click the theme file and it will self install. I usually just extract the font file to where windows stores your fonts. In these cases install the font file first then the theme.

You will see this also with a lot of DX widgets where you need to install a font.  ;)

I'd like to know how you did it though so we can see if the web juys can code around it.

Any hints?

In regards to your question . . Right click on the font and choose install.

I do wish that DX themers would just embed  the fonts though: Embedding a font in a DX widget

like Zubaz said "Right click on the font and choose install" or copy past the font file provided in zip file (unless it's embedded into the dxtheme or widget) into your font folder

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
