Anyone who thinks more taxes for this government is a good idea, and will somehow "help" anything has to be insane.

A government report says federal employees wasted millions of taxpayer dollars by charging fees for Internet dating, tailor-made suits, lingerie and lavish dinners on government credit cards.

The Associated Press on Tuesday obtained the report by the Government Accountability Office. The report reviewed card spending across the federal government from 2005 to 2006. It found that nearly 41 percent of roughly $14 (B) billion in credit-card purchases either had not been properly approved or had not been signed for by a third party.

Billions of dollars wasted on this crap, and this is just the stuff they have caught.  Just imagine the things they haven't caught up with yet.  This is a perfect example of government waste with no accountability.  We should pay higher taxes to these people....for what?  Taxes should never be considered...ever....until spending and accountability is under strict control.

Until there's a balanced budget amendment, there will be never be any incentive to become efficient and eliminate corruption in our government. Right now, we’re paying around $200 billion dollars just on the interest on the Reagan/Bush National Debt, much of which goes to China who in return is buying up financial industries in the U.S. China is gaining control over our economy.

Well, we know how much each of these departments can be cut now, right?  They seemed to be able to serve their purpose just fine with the fraudulent expenditures, so they should be able to do just fine without that amount.
