They both attempt to do the same thing, but in different ways. The main difference is in style and ideology. The Galactic Council is more autocratic, but in a democratic way. The Senate is closer to democracy, only in a tyrannical sense.

Whereas they both try to perform to a specific level of precision, only the Senate has been able to (so far) take a more proactive approach to the task at hand, albeit a temporary gain through the delegation of leadership. The major undertaking has been recently eclipsed by a general election that might affect both endeavors to some degree but both should, in theory anyway, continue along a similar path.

The latest accomplishments within each group will probably spur even more attention to various efforts as history judges the final result from the point of view of those who might have witnessed the process as it unfolded.

Perhaps, but not that I'm aware of.    This is your brain...This is your brain on extended 13 hour shifts.

We did have a metaverse council once that actually did things but it was too much work. Mostly people prefer to leave work to real life and keep games fun. It's hard to criticize that attitude.

ok so they do nothing... i can live with that. and as i finnl stament how dose a Metaverse empire get into a war anyway and how do you fight a wars here?

There really is no way to get 2 Metaverse Empires to get into a war. Other than a war of words (or taunts). Any such "wars" usually end in one Empire stating the following:

Most Empires will razz eachother on the forums but if you can't handle the jokes then it is probably best that you just keep to posting spam and not attacking anyone. If there is any kind of war going on it is to get to the number one spot. But since there is a certain feline Empire that have managed to escape from the clutches of Bob Barker and multiplied into an astonishing amount of members, it will be a hard fought victory for any other Empire to knock them off the #1 spot.

Exhaustion might explain Motti's motivation, but not the apparent skill set. Such jibber-jabber is hardly limited to government.

He could have a marketing background, or deep familiarity with the bureaucracy of a Fortune 500 outfit. That crowd is basically 500 different psuedo-governments, with just as many opportunities for obtuse nonsense as any nation-state on earth, and more money to waste on it than most countries in Africa have.

Dilbert gets pretty weird now and then, but all too often it's funny because it's true.
