Ubisoft Unveils First New Clancy-Based Property

Ubisoft has officially unveiled their Tom Clancy branded aerial combat game dubbed Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X or high-altitude warfare. The property was announced some time ago although without an official title. HAWX is the first Tom Clancy news since the best-selling author and French publisher reached an agreement giving the publisher rights to his name. Ubisoft has their Bucharest studio working on the title and hopes to have HAWX out this Fall for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

“Tom Clancy’s HAWX marks the next evolution of high altitude warfare in the Tom Clancy video game universe,” said John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft. “We are thrilled to take to the skies and provide a new environment along with an extension of a familiar storyline from our other successful Tom Clancy franchises such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.”
