Can't get clock to show the right time

I have Desktop X on my computer at school and loaded one of the themes that had a clock in it. I can't get the clock to be set for the right time which is Mountain Time for me. Any ideas how or if these objects can be configured to the right time? I see I can use the global time widget but I really wanted to use one of the other clocks.
